How Art Found Me Again...

Josh was born and raised in South Florida, where his love for art began early through drawing, painting, and sculpting. He earned a BS in Graphic Arts and an MS in Marketing before building a career in project management.

In 2021, his wife was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer—a life-changing moment that led Josh back to art as a source of healing and reflection. After her recovery, he continued creating, launching a new chapter he calls his “creative rediscovery.”

Through his Art + Story style, Josh aims to inspire others to find connection, healing, and joy through creativity, revealing the deeper stories behind every piece.

How the Story Comes to Life

Exploration

Before I begin a new piece, I immerse myself in exploration. I research ideas, history, and hidden narratives that spark curiosity. I look for meaning in the overlooked and inspiration in the ordinary, gathering the fragments of story that will ultimately shape the art.

Intentionality

Every element, from shape and line to color and texture, is chosen with purpose. Nothing is accidental. I work to create a sense of balance within the chaos, allowing every stroke to serve a role in building both visual and emotional harmony.

Narrative

My work is designed to be experienced both from afar and up close. Step closer and you will find embedded details, symbols, and phrases that connect to deeper stories. Each piece invites reflection and conversation, serving as a bridge between my story and the viewer’s own.
