The Flow
The shapes and patterns throughout each piece come from a practice I call Flow. I let go of a fixed plan and let my hand move freely, drawing unique shapes and patterns as they come. It's a tribute to my childhood, filling sketchbooks with doodles just for the joy of it.

Foreground and Background
Each portrait is built in layers, a foreground and background that work together to create depth and tell a fuller story.
Spark!
You'll find a spark in almost all of my portraits. I believe we all carry that spark, the thing that makes us uniquely ourselves, and I look for ways to bring it to the surface.
No Fleshtones
Our natural skin tones are beautiful and unique on their own. But I believe each of us also carries colors that go beyond skin, colors that reflect our essence. I do my best to bring those bold, unexpected tones into every piece.
Hand Drawn Texture
Every piece is completely hand drawn and embellished with paints and gel mediums, building layers of rich, tactile texture you can see and feel.
