Moon + Stars

The moon and stars imagery carries a dual significance. It symbolizes Malcolm's Islamic faith as a devout believer, while also representing his cherished family: the moon signifies his wife, and the stars represent his six daughters, honoring the loved ones who grounded his life and legacy.

Finally, the third is Manhattan in New York City, where his remarkable life was tragically cut short on February 21, 1965, when he was assassinated at the Audubon Ballroom. Each location reflects a profound chapter in his journey and legacy.
